Just as one can get lost in the woods, there are hindrances when we practice the eight-part path. DNBF was invited to Bagarmossen, a residential area close to nature south of Stockholm, to arrange a weekend retreat.

The focus was on deeper meditation and its hindrances: sensory desire, ill will, sloth and torpor, restlessness and remorse, and doubt. The Buddha illustrated these obstacles as parables, both in the form of a bowl of water and human situations. See more on this website.
