If you live in or around Oslo, join us for a café visit on 14th of December! More info on our Facebook page!
The Fjord Group

In January, we will start the group fjord, which will consist of experienced dedicated meditators, who will meet once a month over Zoom for discussion, advice and inspiration around their own practice. This is a group for those who really want and have a continuous practice, and who manage to prioritize both meditation and some study in their life.
New board members DNBF

There will be an annual general meeting at the end of February 2025, and in order to ensure democracy and new energy, some board members need to be replaced. Serving on the board is an opportunity to get closer to the society and create your own inspiration by giving and helping. Can you help being a board member for a year? Send an email to post@dnbf.org
Weekend residental retreat Finland

Our sister organization, The Dhamma Society of Finland, has found the venue Friendship Inn for a weekend retreat 3rd to 5th of January 2025. Participants from all countries are welcome, and the teaching will be in English with Ajahn Nitho as instructor.
8 day retreat outside Trondheim

We invite you to a silent meditation retreat at Troset outside Trondheim in February 2025. This will be a small and Norwegian-language retreat with Ajahn Nitho as instructor.
Advanced weekend retreat Stockholm

Our sister organization in Sweden (which just now is now is being founded) invites you to an advanced weekend retreat at Bagarmossen, Stockholm 7th to 9th of February 2025. There will be teaching of more advanced meditation and methods, more time for self-practice, and plenty of time for questions, answers and some discussion around more difficult topics. Ajahn Nitho is invited as an instructor.
Pali language course

We are now also inviting participation to an intensive Pali language course, which we are planning for 2025. The language ‘Pali’ (along with ‘Sanskrit’) is used to preserve the original teachings of the Buddha. The purpose is to open the door to the Buddha’s teachings, and to be able to see the original teachings behind the translators’ interpretations – this is how the Buddha’s teachings come to life! Ajahn Nitho will also be joining us to refresh his own skills, but we will be bringing in an external instructor for the course itself.
All the best wishes for the holliday to come!
