Dear friends and members of DNBF,
There is a lot going on in our society these days – and recently we received an extra inspirational invitation: our spiritual advisor and benefactor, Ajahn Brahm, has invited us to concretize our common dream of a center in Norway. A center that can become both a home for female and male monastics and a retreat center for us laypeople – a place where we can learn, practice, immerse ourselves, meet the community and grow together in the very best setting.
Such a center could become a lasting source of spiritual development, with a variety of teachings from different teachers – throughout large parts of the year. This has the potential to become something truly meaningful and valuable.

The more perspectives that emerge, the better we can safeguard the conditions for realising a centre that embraces a broad and wise. We do not want to leave out anything that may be relevant – so feel free to share both enthusiasm, objections, questions and ideas. No contribution is too small.
