We are now close to a big step forward for the Buddhist Society of Norway. To ensure state support and further growth, we need at least 100 registered members by 1st of January 2026. The board wants to facilitate meaningful and inspiring meetings in our society, now that we have access to premises once a month in Oslo. Until now, the board has prioritized experience and skills in running longer and shorter retreats in different places, because such events involve the participants a lot, and their own experience and wisdom develops accordingly. The board now also wants to initiate member meetings, and greatly appreciates if you would answer a few simple questions, so that we can adapt the content to the members' wishes. We are fundamentally dreaming and defining now in DNBF, and for the time being, the fantacy is allowed to roam freely, when we now seriously have started to think about projects involving property and buildings. Join us in shaping our common dream of a center in Norway − a place that reflects our values, a place for development, community and friendship.

We will arrange a 7 days retreat for beginners and advanced at Venabu 25th of October to 2nd of November, where teaching is mostly aimed at participants with little experience, but with an equal distribution of participants − both beginners and experienced. English-speaking independent participants are also welcome. Teaching, guiding, private guidance, questions and answers. Single room with bathroom for everyone. Members of DNBF have first priority.
