This guided meditation focuses on care and patience, which means providing comfort to the body, avoiding too much effort to ward off fatigue, paying attention to the present – and not thinking too much about the future that has no end. In this way, guide the mind gently, with presence and patience.

Ajahn Brahmali was born in Norway in 1964. He first became interested in Buddhism in his early 20s, and he took full ordination in 1996 at the Bodhinyana Monastery with Ajahn Brahm as his preceptor. He is renowned for his excellent knowledge of the Pali language and his enthusiasm for teaching the suttas. He has also published numerous essays on important points of Dhamma, including the legitimacy of bhikkhuni ordination, which he is a supporter of. In 2022 Ajahn Brahmali was awarded an honorary doctorate degree for his contribution to Buddhist studies.
