Welcome to the meditation retreat at Maribo from 12th to 15th of November 2026.

The price will be DKK 3,445 (EUR 460) which corresponds to approximately the cost price of the retreat. To secure your place, you must book and pay a deposit of DKK 1000 (NOK 1.460, EUR 135), and then the rest no later than 4 weeks before the retreat starts.

The instructor has the instructor job full-time, lives off gifts and receives no salary. In addition, all work in the society is based on volunteer work in Denmark and Norway. We are therefore very grateful if you support the society as much as you can when registering, to cover operating and development costs.

Description

Time: From Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th of November 2026. Starts at lunch at 11.00 on the first day, departure after lunch on the last day.
Location: Inspiration Center Denmark, Hunseby Kirkevej 13, 4930 Hunseby, Denmark.
Language: All teaching will be in English, but the instructor is Norwegian, so understands Danish well.
Price: A total of 3445 DKK (460 EUR), you can first pay a deposit of DKK 1000 and then the rest 4 weeks before the retreat starts.
Transport: Each individual must provide transport to and from themselves, but we help to connect those who have their own transport with those who do not.
Food: Vegetarian with eggs and milk.
Age: The minimum age for participation is 18 years.

Medicine and health

If you have a physical illness, remember to bring the necessary medication. Meditation cannot replace medicine. If you have a physical illness that is made worse by long periods of sitting or walking, you should check with your doctor before signing up.

If you have a mental illness, this must be informed in the participant form and clarified with Ajahn Nitho and healthcare professionals. Meditation cannot replace therapy or medication, and a retreat is not a place where you can stop or adjust medication.

Registration and refunds

You register by pressing the “Book” button at the top of this page. Your registration is valid once we have received your payment.

IMPORTANT: For those who have paid a deposit or full participation fee of DKK 3,445, and then withdraw from the retreat, even after the retreat has started, for any reason (including illness), the amount will be refunded if the association finds another person, for example from the retreat’s waiting list. Otherwise, we recommend travel insurance to remove the risk if you have to withdraw, for example due to illness, and the society cannot find someone to take your place.
