The society is now working intensively with property and buildings, and in recent months has been through a steep learning curve around property, buildings, regulation and local politics − and we are well into a first excellent alternative to location. Now that a financing solution is starting to fall into place, we will consider several options throughout the autumn., and we would like to hear from you if you know of an exciting location − send an email to post@dnbf.org

The weekend from 6th to the 8th of November, the conference will be held in Krakow, Poland. 2500 participants, speakers from 15 countries in 4 continents. Come join us! Some joint activities (including a common meal) will be organized for those who want to hang out with the others who participate through DNBF.

Maribo is located a train ride south-west of Copenhagen, and the retreat is a collaboration between DNBF and a new sister organization in Denmark. Start Friday 12th of November at 11 am, ends on Sunday 15th of November after lunch.

Together with the Swedish sister organization, a weekend retreat is planned on 4th to 6th of December 2026 outside Stockholm. This retreat is being planned. More information to come.

After the success at Finnhavn in Sweden, a larger retreat is now planned at Shambala Gatherings west of Stockholm, and we rent the entire center between 31th of March and 7th of April 2027. The annual retreat with the instructors Venerable Canda and Nitho will not be at Venabu in April 2027, we were too late to book the period. We will most likely stay at Finnskogtoppen, east of Oslo, right on the border with Sweden. But because the place is only half the size of Venabu, there will probably only be 35 participants, because we will as usual give all participants their own room. Pre-registration has opened.
