Visualisations for ease of focus | EN | Ajahn Nitho

Often the meditation object, for example the breath, is too subtle to focus on, maybe because your life is bussy with work, responsibilities and being social.

Often the meditation object, for example the breath, is too subtle to focus on, maybe because your life is bussy with work, responsibilities and being social. And a trick you can use then, is to make the meditation object bigger and more entertaining, by adding visualisations. In this guided meditation you are asked to create an imaginary beautiful peaceful place, with a little bit of repetetive movements − movements which under meditation will go in parallel to your breathing.

This teaching was given at Venabu 2024.
