We had an inspiring visit from bhikkhuni Canda last week, when we gathered 60 people for retreat and inspiration in the mountains. The way forward for DNBF includes everyone, with full respect for equality − free from discrimination and unwholesom culture.

Meditation and social, from 10.00 – 12.00. We have a shorter meditation, and a frame around with a focus on the social and friendship, getting to know each other and helping each other. Open house, everyone welcome, feel free to bring a friend.

Potential and respect, from 13.00 – 15.00. First a brief presentation of the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights, then we look at the relevant laws in Norway and then the original Buddhism. It is very inspiring to find equality and democracy in a 2500-year-old tradition − but what we find in Oslo today is disappointing. Open house, everyone welcome, feel free to bring a friend.

We meet at Vital Oslo, Waldemar Thranesgate 5, 0171 Oslo − ie. St. Hanshaugen, Oslo, Sunday 10th of May.
