Only 4 seats left at Venabu
Members were given first priority, yesterday registration opened for everyone, and today only 4 of the 50 places are left. This is an English language international retreat, with participants mainly from Norway, but also Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Canada. The instructors are Venerable Canda and Ajahn Nitho.

Weekend retreat Trondheim
Jaran de los Santos Olsen is visiting Trondheim, and will lead a weekend retreat focusing on mindfulness, self-compassion and insight on 16th and 17th of March.

Pilgrimage to India
The society will travel to India and visit Bodh Gaya, Lumbini, Deer Park, Vulture Peak, Kushinagar, Kapilvastu, Sravasti and Arangabad. We will visit Buddha’s homeland, where he grew up, taught, reached awakening, etc. We have a highly experienced tour leader from Australia, as well as local guides from India, and senior monastics who teach. We have 10 seats left.

Looking for premises in Oslo
The society is planning monthly teachings in Oslo, and we are looking for a central venue that we can use once a month (initially) for a whole Saturday or Sunday – somewhere quiet in the city. We need a larger room for teaching and meditation for about 20 people, a reception area and a place to eat lunch. Send us an email to post@dnbf.org if you can help!
