Imprisoned

It was a captivating weekend in Arendal - both instructor and retreat leader had long been wanted, and after prisoner numbers were assigned, they had to endure isolation - at least two days.

DNBF was invited to Arendel the weekend of 5 – 6 April 2025, and we were all going to prison, at least a former prison, which is now the Prison Hotel. We got nice premises on the top floor, and a fully booked weekend retreat with a focus on kindfulness − and how important joy and energy are for meditation and wisdom.

This weekend was also a test of weekend retreat with overnight stays – so those who wanted to, could be focused all weekend, without having to go home in the evening. This also opens up for participants from other parts of the country – which also was the case this weekend.
