The 2023 Mountain Retreat was located at Haukeliseter on Hardangervidda in July, and the goal was, as last year – out in nature, peace of mind, exercise for the body − a simple lifestyle and plenty of time for personal practice and development for a small group of interested people.

The teaching given to the groups of visitors was focused around the eight-fold path – intention, ethics, effort, mindfulness and meditation. An important theme this year was the effect of meditation for better health.

We have collected some photos and film clips.

1) Fresh clean river water, 2) relaxing sundown while listening to teachings, and 3) two rather uncommon Chief Diciples of the Buddha (given to us by the participants).
